The federal government has inaugurated a 14-member ministerial committee to implement reforms in Nigeria's housing and built environment sector. The committee, chaired by Permanent Secretary Dr Shuaib Belgore, was inaugurated in Abuja by Minister of Housing and Urban Development Muttaqa Darma. It has a six-week deadline to produce a workable implementation strategy, including a detailed work plan with priority actions, timelines, and deliverables.
