The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has unveiled plans to increase Nigeria's gas reserves from 215 trillion cubic feet (tcf) to over 600tcf. The company also aims to raise national gas production to 12 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) by 2030. The plans were announced as part of efforts to boost the country's gas sector.
