NFF: FA Chairmen Tell FIFA, CAF ‘No Crisis In Nigeria’s Football’, Reject Normalisation Committee

State Football Association chairmen have told FIFA and CAF that there is no crisis in Nigeria's football, rejecting the idea of a normalisation committee. The chairman of the Gombe State FA, Yakubu Sarma, led a delegation to a meeting with FIFA and CAF officials in Abuja, stating that the NFF Congress can resolve the leadership vacuum and drive reforms. The FA chairmen insisted that the NFF Congress could establish an interim or caretaker structure in line with the federation's statutes. The meeting followed the resignation of former NFF President Ibrahim Gusau and other board members.
