The Allied Peoples Movement has described the popularity of its presidential candidate and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, especially among young people, as a sign of the party's victory in the 2027 presidential election. In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Abubakar Yusuf, the party said Makinde has been trending as the candidate who best connects with the desires of youths. The party cited his record of standing with young people in their legitimate aspirations.
