Former students of Omoluorogbo Grammar School, Akure (OGSA) have initiated plans to revive the 50-year-old institution through a legacy project aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening the academic environment. The initiative is part of the school’s Golden Jubilee celebration, scheduled from October 29 to October 31, which will bring together old students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders from Nigeria and the diaspora. Hon. Kayode Akinmade, chairman of the 50th Anniversary Implementation Committee, stated that the event offers an opportunity to address challenges facing the school beyond mere celebration. He noted that despite infrastructural challenges and limited investment, the school has continued to produce distinguished graduates in various professions.
