The Federal Capital Territory Police Command arrested 70 suspected hoodlums in a raid on criminal black spots around Unity Fountain in Maitama, Abuja. The operation followed a viral video showing an alleged robbery in the area. According to the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, 30 suspects were released after preliminary screening, while 40 were retained for further investigation. The robbery victim identified two of the suspects as persons he recognised from the incident.
