The Sokoto State Government has called on the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to extend its crisis-response simulation to the state. The government believes the exercise will improve coordination among security and emergency agencies in tackling banditry and other threats. The appeal was made by Col. Ahmed Usman (rtd), Special Adviser on Security Matters, who commended ONSA's Rapid Response 3 Crisis Response Exercise. Usman noted that the initiative is timely given evolving security challenges.
