The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has expressed support for the indefinite strike by resident doctors at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). NARD urged the Lagos State Government to urgently address the doctors' welfare concerns to prevent further disruption to healthcare services. In a statement signed by President Dr. Mohammad Usman Suleiman and Secretary-General Dr. Shuabu Ibrahim, NARD said it stands in full solidarity with LASUTH-ARD. The strike follows prolonged delays in resolving welfare issues despite previous agreements.
