We Won’t Support Any Arrangement Detrimental To Tinubu’s Re-election, Our Party’s Candidates -APC Govs

The Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) has resolved that its members will not participate in, support, or endorse any political alliance or arrangement that could undermine President Bola Tinubu's re-election or weaken the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections. The governors stated this in a communique issued after a closed-door meeting at the Imo State Governor's Lodge in Abuja late Monday night. Chairman of the forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, said the forum's primary focus is to support official APC candidates at all levels rather than external interests. The governors rejected any arrangement that creates confusion, divided loyalty, or competing interests within the party.
