Accenture has agreed to pay $25 million to settle allegations that it discriminated on the basis of race and sex in hiring and promotion practices between 2017 and 2026. The Department of Justice announced the settlement, which is part of a broader crackdown on DEI policies under President Trump. IBM and Deloitte previously paid similar settlements, bringing the total bill for the three firms to $63.5 million. The allegations included giving preference to candidates based on race or sex.
