Ford has announced that its 2027 F-150 will feature a version of its BlueCruise hands-free driver-assistance system that can be used while towing a boat, camper, or trailer on compatible highways. The system is not fully self-driving; drivers must keep their eyes on the road and be ready to take over. The update brings Ford in line with General Motors, which added trailering to its hands-off system in 2022. Ford is also cutting thousands off the base Raptor and Tremor trims by removing luxury features and reintroducing the V8 to King Ranch and Platinum trucks.
