The Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned to Wednesday, September 16, 2026, a suit challenging the nomination of candidates by the Nigeria Democratic Congress for the 2027 elections. Justice D.E. Osiagor adjourned the matter after counsel to the plaintiffs sought to join the party's nominee, Funsho Dorothy, and amend the suit. The NDC counsel opposed the application. The court is expected to determine the joinder application on Wednesday.
