The Government of Liberia has completed and officially handed over the Beh Town Public School in Dewoin District, Bomi County, seven months after breaking ground. The new facility provides improved classrooms, more than 200 student chairs, whiteboards, and a better teaching and learning environment. The school is part of the Ministry of Education's efforts to expand access to public education, with free registration from Kindergarten through Grade 6. Bomi County is one of seven priority counties under the Back to My Classroom Campaign, which aims to return out-of-school children to education. The dedication ceremony was attended by Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, county and district authorities, traditional leaders, teachers, parents, students, and community members.
