Neymar, Coutinho reunite at Santos for first time at club level

Brazilian football stars Neymar and Philippe Coutinho will play together at club level for the first time after Coutinho joined Santos on a free transfer. Coutinho, 34, left boyhood club Vasco da Gama in February and has now signed with Santos for the rest of the season, reuniting with his close friend and former Brazil teammate Neymar. The move marks the first time the pair will be club teammates, despite their long-standing friendship and time together with the Brazil national team. Their spells at Barcelona did not overlap, as Neymar left for Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017 before Coutinho joined the Catalan club in January 2018. Santos welcomed Coutinho with a video showing Neymar embracing him in the dressing room.
