Iran: No talks with US until conditions are met

A top Iranian security official stated on Tuesday that Iran will not negotiate with the United States until its conditions are met. Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, made the remarks in a post on X in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s comments on Monday. Trump had said Tehran wanted to reach a deal “quickly and badly” and that Washington could resume negotiations with Iran. Rezaei urged Iranians not to be distracted by what he described as Trump’s mixed signals and stressed that there would be no talks until Iran’s conditions are met.
