Peter Obi asks UNN, others to release his academic records

Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has asked the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and other institutions to release his academic records. This follows a lawsuit by Abayomi Arabambi, a former Labour Party spokesperson, who claimed he requested a certified true copy of Mr. Obi's certificate number D000198, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy issued in 1984, under the Freedom of Information Act, but was refused. Mr. Obi's request seeks to compel the release of these records. The matter is now before the courts.
