The Ondo State Police Command rescued two kidnapped victims and arrested three suspects in Isua-Akoko, Akoko South-East Local Government Area. The operation took place on September 11 following credible intelligence that suspected kidnappers were hiding in a forest along the Ifira-Idoani axis to collect ransom. Operatives from the Isua division, in collaboration with the Ondo State Security Network (Amotekun) and Agbe-Koya, conducted a coordinated rescue and ambush operation. The police also recovered N1.5 million, suspected to be ransom payment.
