Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah welcomed a new cohort of Peace Corps Volunteers to Liberia during a swearing-in ceremony at Monrovia City Hall. She congratulated the volunteers on completing ten weeks of pre-service training and advised them to continue learning within the communities they will serve. Jallah urged the volunteers to listen, build relationships, and collaborate with Liberian teachers, education officials, health workers, parents, students, and community leaders. She emphasized that volunteers assigned to schools should work as partners with those already serving in Liberia's education system.
