The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has identified Gombe and Funakaye Local Government Areas as high-risk areas for the upcoming Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency by-election. The commission cited the presence of political thugs as the reason for the high-risk designation. The by-election is scheduled for Saturday.
