Karu Road: Traffic, Flooding Ease As Wike Delivers 15km Corridor

The completion of a 15-kilometre road project along the Karu corridor in the Federal Capital Territory has led to improved traffic flow, drainage, and night-time visibility, according to residents. The road, executed by indigenous contractor Abdul-Val Nigeria Limited, runs from Karu Interchange on the Abuja-Keffi Expressway to Customs Clinic Junction and includes feeder roads such as DSS Road, NIA Road, and EFCC Road. The project was awarded on August 22, 2025. Residents reported that the corridor, previously known for congestion and flooding, has seen significant improvement.
