Senator Solomon Adeola, the APC governorship candidate for Ogun State, has threatened legal action against Hon. Abayomi Hunye and Ambassador Folake Marcus-Bello over alleged libellous statements about his origin. In a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Kayode Odunaro, Adeola said the two individuals appeared on a national television programme where they claimed he is an indigene of Ekiti State. He challenged them to publicly present evidence supporting their allegations within 24 hours or face legal action. Adeola described the claims as outrageous lies about his origin and family.
