Unions reject TUC suspension, demand reversal of King’s College concession

The Joint Workers Council of the Federal Ministry of Education has rejected the suspension of industrial action announced by the Trade Union Congress. The unions are demanding the reversal of the concession of King's College, Lagos. Chairman Abraham Onuche stated this during a protest at the ministry's headquarters in Abuja, saying the workers remain committed to their demand. He added that the unions would not recognise the suspension because the TUC was not directly involved in the protest or negotiations.
