The United Nations Humanitarian Air Service is providing critical air support for the Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since the outbreak was declared, air operations have been intensified, with Bunia now connected to Kinshasa by five weekly rotations, up from three. Dedicated Ebola response flights serve affected areas including Beni, Isiro, Buta, and Kisangani, as well as special flights for operational needs. UNHAS teams adapt daily to deliver responders and lifesaving cargo to the frontlines.
