Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ogun State, has threatened legal action against two prominent politicians over allegations that he faked his state of origin. In a statement issued in Abeokuta and signed by his media adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Adeola accused Hon. Abayomi Hunye, a parallel APC guber candidate, and Ambassador Folake Marcus-Bello of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of making libelous statements on national television. The statement alleged that both Hunye, a suspended APC member from the Tube Ward in Ipokia Local Government Area, and Marcus-Bello claimed in interviews that he is an indigene of Ekiti State but claiming Ogun State. Adeola said he would institute legal action against them.
