A new political group, Arewa for Asiwaju A4A, has been formed to mobilize support for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election bid across Northern Nigeria. The group includes former governors, senators, ministers, and grassroots power-brokers from all 19 Northern states and the Federal Capital Territory. A 14-member Board of Trustees, chaired by former Kano State Governor Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, will lead the structure. A formal unveiling is expected in Abuja soon, followed by zonal and state inaugurations.
