Former Nigerian Ambassador to Zambia and Malawi, Folake Marcus-Bello, has reopened the debate on the ancestry of the APC governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ogun State, Solomon Adeola, known as Yayi. She claimed there is documentary evidence to prove that Yayi is not from Ogun State. In response, the APC governorship candidate has threatened legal action against Marcus-Bello and Hon. Abayomi Hunye over alleged defamation.
