A Pentagon inspector general report released Monday evening revealed that Iranian strikes damaged or destroyed hundreds of buildings and structures at US military bases across the Middle East this year. The attacks affected US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Oman, among other countries. US forces conducted extensive air defense operations during Operation Epic Fury, but some enemy munitions still reached their targets. Strikes on a key US naval base caused logistical challenges for American warships in the region.
