Agility Robotics unveiled its next-generation humanoid robot, Digit 5, on Tuesday. The robot is designed to work near people and can detect when someone is too close, slowing down or stopping, and if a person continues to approach, it can lower itself and shut off its motors. Business Insider received an early look at renderings of Digit 5. The company is seeking a $2.5 billion public debut as it aims to prove that humanoids can scale.
