The Association of Amateur Football Clubs of Cameroon (ACFAC) has called for an investigation into the Cameroonian Football Federation and its president, Samuel Eto'o, over media reports of alleged graft. Eto'o is accused of improperly receiving a payment from the Russian Football Federation related to a friendly match between the two countries in October 2023. ACFAC claims the Russian Football Union violated its contract with FECAFOOT by transferring about 567,000 euros ($654,000) into an account not belonging to the federation. The association plans to file a lawsuit against Eto'o in Cameroonian courts and a separate complaint in Russia against the Russian Football Union.
