2027: Uzodinma’s Dismissal of Rainbow Coalition Threat To Tinubu’s Re-election, Says Group

A political support group, Bola Tinubu Renewed Hope Youth Network, has accused Imo State governor Hope Uzodinma of undermining President Bola Tinubu's re-election efforts ahead of the 2027 general election. The group said Uzodinma's dismissal of a growing alliance of political parties and influential actors supporting the President was unnecessary and potentially damaging. According to a statement signed by Olu Segun, the group insisted that Tinubu's support base cannot be reduced to the formal structures of the APC alone. The group's reaction followed Uzodinma's reported declaration after a Progressives Governors Forum meeting in Abuja that APC governors had not entered into any formal agreement with individuals or opposition parties ahead of the 2027 elections.
