Inter Miami has officially announced the appointment of Argentine Cristian “Kily” Gonzalez as head coach, with Lionel Messi set to play under him. Gonzalez will lead the MLS club until June 2028 after securing a United States work permit. He replaces Guillermo Hoyos, who had been interim manager after Javier Mascherano stepped down in April. Gonzalez was scheduled to lead his first training session on Tuesday.
