The Debt Management Office (DMO) has raised N748.64 billion from its September 2026 Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) bond auction, with total subscriptions declining by 13.5 per cent compared to the previous month. Investors submitted bids worth N1.49 trillion for the two instruments offered, compared with N1.73 trillion across three instruments in August. The amount allotted fell by seven per cent from N805.16 billion in August. The auction featured a new 16.79 per cent FGN September 2036 bond and a reopening of the 15.45 per cent FGN June 2038 bond.
