Pay TV subscriptions in the US have declined from over 100 million in 2016 to about 62 million currently. Analysts at MoffettNathanson predict the number will fall to around 50 million by 2030, where it is expected to stabilize. This total includes traditional cable distributors like Comcast and Charter, as well as digital competitors like YouTube TV, which is on track to become the largest pay TV company in America.
