The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised concerns over the rising cost of petrol, stating that it is causing severe hardship for Nigerians. In a statement on Tuesday, the party's National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, noted that petrol now sells for as much as N1,470 per litre. The party said this has made transportation, food, and other basic needs more expensive. The ADC's comments come amid ongoing debates over fuel subsidy removal and its impact on the populace.
