The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that the rising petrol price, reaching up to N1,470 per litre in some areas, is exacerbating economic hardship. The party noted that the increase affects food, transportation, electricity, and education costs, pushing Nigerians to the brink. It also highlighted that private schools have raised fees by 30 to 40 per cent, burdening parents whose incomes have not risen correspondingly.
