Howard Webb, chief refereeing officer of Professional Game Referees (Pro Ref), has explained that VAR's "tunnel vision" led to the controversial decision to allow Erling Haaland's goal for Manchester City against Manchester United. Webb expressed disappointment with the error made by VAR Matt Donohue and his assistant, Blake Antrobus, during the Manchester derby. He noted that the officials will not officiate again until after the international break. Haaland's goal was initially thought to be the only goal of the game at Old Trafford.
