The Ministry of Defence has unveiled plans to partner with the Federal Capital Territory Administration, the Federal Housing Authority, and other mortgage institutions to provide affordable housing for its staff. The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), disclosed this during a town hall meeting with staff at the ministry's headquarters in Abuja. He emphasized the vital role of civilian personnel in national security and urged them to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying safety risks. The minister explained that the ministry is exploring options beyond land acquisition to make home ownership more accessible to its workforce.
