The King's College Old Boys Association (KCOBA) has denied allegations that it is seeking to take over ownership of King's College, Lagos, stating that the institution remains a public national school. KCOBA said the change would be in the framework for managing, maintaining, financing, modernising and developing the school. Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Femi Okunnu, SAN, raised concerns over reports of admissions compromises involving money and influence, and said the Old Boys aim to restore fair and transparent admission processes.
