Stakeholders in Nigeria's tourism, hospitality, aviation, finance, and creative sectors have called for a year-round strategy to achieve the $100 billion tourism and creative economy target. At the 'Ember to Remember' conference in Lagos, organized by the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy and MyCityApp, they emphasized that the plan cannot rely solely on the December festive rush. Minister Hannatu Musa Musawa noted the festive season already generates considerable revenue. The conference aimed to transform September-to-December activities into sustainable economic opportunities.
