‘I had 18 phones in my bag’ — Dele Momodu recalls near detention at UK airport

Veteran journalist and publisher of Ovation International, Dele Momodu, has recounted how he was almost detained at London's Heathrow Airport after security officials found 18 phones in his bag. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Momodu said the incident occurred while he was travelling to South Africa. He explained that the officials stopped him, placed the phones in a tray, and questioned him about his profession. He said he told them he is a journalist and provided proof when asked.
