Former Ekiti State Governor and PDP chieftain Ayo Fayose stated that the controversy over the Rainbow Coalition led by Nyesom Wike would not harm President Bola Tinubu's chances in the 2027 presidential election. Fayose said Wike and APC governors were supporting Tinubu in different ways, and what mattered was whether the coalition could deliver votes, especially in Rivers State. He spoke on Channels Television's Politics Today amid renewed controversy after APC governors warned against political arrangements that could weaken the party's candidates.
