The Association of Northern Nigeria Students has passed a vote of confidence in the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd.), saying his leadership has shown the capacity and commitment needed to confront Nigeria's security challenges. In a statement signed by its President, Comrade Baba Mahadi, the students' body said Musa has remained committed to the peace, unity and security of the country and described his record of service as evidence of patriotism and dedication to national duty. The association said the minister has continued to demonstrate courage and responsibility in addressing issues affecting national security. It urged Nigerians to recognise and support the efforts of security institutions rather than undermine them.
