Security workers at California tech offices are planning to strike starting Friday morning. The workers, represented by SEIU-UWW, guard major companies including Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and Nvidia. A 72-hour strike notice was submitted on Tuesday. The strike could lead to office closures and work-from-home orders, though no Bay Area tech companies have announced such measures yet.
