Nigeria's headline inflation rate eased marginally to 15.39 per cent in August 2026 from 15.43 per cent in July, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. The report also highlighted the states with the highest cost of living during the period. The ranking of the most expensive states to live in was based on the latest inflation figures released by the bureau.
