'60 Minutes' ratings tanked in the season debut under Bari Weiss

The season premiere of CBS News' "60 Minutes" drew about 7.9 million viewers, a decline of more than 20% from the roughly 10 million who watched last year's debut, according to Nielsen data. The episode was produced under new lead producer Nick Bilton, who was selected by top CBS News editor Bari Weiss in May. The broadcast also had a weaker NFL game lead-in compared with the previous year.
