Senator Solomon Adeola, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Ogun State, has given Peoples Democratic Party chieftain Abayomi Hunye and Ambassador Folake Marcus-Bello 24 hours to substantiate claims that he is of Ekiti State origin or face legal action. The ultimatum was issued through Adeola's Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, following separate television appearances by Hunye and Marcus-Bello on Channels Television. Adeola described the allegations as false and defamatory, challenging his accusers to produce documentary evidence. Hunye responded by welcoming the lawsuit.
