Bandits have abducted a pregnant woman, a seven-month-old baby, and six others in separate attacks on two communities in Kakau Ward, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The incidents occurred on Monday in Kaso Rimi and Kaso Kurmi communities. According to the IDP coordinator for Chikun LGA, Comrade Adams Sule, five people were abducted from farms in Kaso Kurmi at about noon, while two women were later abducted from a house in Kaso Rimi at about 10pm. One of the women was a nursing mother, and her seven-month-old baby was also taken.
