Meta Platforms plans to release a camera-free pair of smart glasses this fall, according to people familiar with the matter. The new model, internally code-named Luna, will feature six built-in microphones, a side button to activate Meta AI, and speakers that direct sound toward the user's ears. It will have slimmer temple arms than previous models, making it look more like ordinary eyewear. The move comes amid privacy concerns about cameras on existing offerings.
