The organisers of the Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) have established the Africa Social Impact Network (ASIN), a pan-African platform designed to extend the impact of the annual summit by driving year-round partnerships, financing, knowledge exchange and development action across the continent. The announcement followed the conclusion of the fifth Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS 2026), held in Lagos recently under the theme, “Financing for Development: Building Resilience and Transforming Emerging Economies.” The summit brought together governments, development institutions, businesses, investors, philanthropies, academia and civil society to advance practical conversations and partnerships around Africa’s development priorities. The establishment of ASIN marks a new phase in the evolution of ASIS, which over the past five years has grown into a major platform for multi-stakeholder engagement on sustainable development.
