A’Ibom pays N90bn gratuities, recruits 7,069 workers

The Akwa Ibom State Government has paid over N90 billion in gratuities to retired public servants and recruited 7,069 new workers, according to the Head of Civil Service. The payments and recruitment are part of the state's efforts to improve the welfare of workers and pensioners. The Head of Civil Service disclosed this in Uyo. The recruitment is expected to boost the state's workforce.
